"Good To Be King" by Michael Badnarik
"The sole purpose of the constitution is to protect your individual rights and property. Anyone who tries to tell you that the constitution is a "living document" which is old and outdated, is trying to convince you that you don't have individual rights and that the government is authorized to take your property ''to support the greater good."
-Michael Badnarik

Good to be King: The Foundation of Our Constitutional Freedom is a must read for anyone who cares about the affairs of government. Chapter one through eight 2004 libertarian presidential candidate Michael Badnarik gives his unique introduction to the constitution and presents a compelling argument of why in America you are a king. The next nine chapters Michael breaks down the constitution with a sheer brilliance that comes with over 25 years of studying the Constitution and the history of these united States. You will learn what this great document that freed a nation does and does not mean. The remainder of the book Michael exposes corruption and treason within the United States and instead of leaving you with a grim tale of doom and glume Michael also spells out a non violent plan of hope that begins with you!

This book provides in depth analysis of the supreme law of the land with legal definitions provided by Blacks law dictionary throughout. Each chapter is short, and to the point, Michael does not ramble or beat around the bush. This book is written to, "edify and entertain school children and seasoned libertarians alike." as Congressman Ron Paul put it. And instead of telling you to take his word for it, Michael encourages you to turn over every leaf and question all authority including his own. If you would like to experience what our founders entrusted congress to preserve for you read this book. If you could care less, and would rather watch tv than fine don't read it and watch your liberties go down the toilet.

"The Big Black Lie" by Kevin Jackson
As children we are taught that there are little white lies that are told with well intentions and result in no harm, and perhaps wonderful results, and there are big black lies that are spoken will ill intent and cause nothing but pain and grief. Good fibs and evil lies if you will, well Kevin Jackson has discovered the big black lie of society and wishes to make it well known, and so far he has done well with this Amazon best seller.

From a poor black boy growing up in a single parent home, to an American success story, the Big Black Lie details every major event in Kevin's life that helped shape who he is today and what he believes. One of the few black men who have, 'come out' and agmitted to being a conservative Kevin details every belief he has and holds with great detail. "How I found out the truth about the Democratic party" is the fitting subtitle to this book that is by no means a boar; Kevin's book is a page turner with all the witty humor that you would expect from him if you have ever been given the privilege of hearing him speak.

Saying what needs to be said, and what only a black man can say without being called a racist, Kevin tells his story that I find more geared towards black men, although I believe it is a book that will be very educational to men and woman of all races. Keven carefully explains how over the years it has been the Democratic Party that has been more demeaning and racist to blacks than the Republicans. This must read, will open your eyes to aspects of black and Democratic history that you were not taught in the public schools. I can not say that I agree with every one of his conclusions, you may not either but I believe that you will come to respect his opinions once you learn where he is coming from, and will find it well worth the time invested. Pick up a copy of this book and discover what the big black lie in our society really is.

"End the Fed" by Ron Paul
In "End the Fed", 2008 Presidential contender Ron Paul lays out the reasons that the Federal Reserve must go and a gold standard must return. Congressman Paul explains his reasons from Philosophical, Constitutional, Economical and Political standpoints citing the current mess we are in and have been in (albeit unknowingly for most Americans) since our fiat money system was integrated and we were removed from the gold standard. He argues the Federal Reserve, namely chairman Ben Bernanke, while credited with "saving" us from an even more disasterous economy, is actually delaying the inevitable - a serious crash far worse than the Great Depression. Not only is he delaying it, but by continually printing more money into circulation, artificially adjusting interest rates creating bubbles in all markets and giving the false signal to investors and businesses to invest and spend in our broken economy, he is going to make the inevitable far worse than it could be if honesty and transparency within the market allowed change to happen now.

The idea of ridding the American people of the Federal Reserve is still not a super popular one, surprisingly. Many American's can read "End the Fed" or similar titles, or listen all day to an expert discuss the reasons for abolishing it, and still say that it should stay. Their reasons are usually inane: What would we do for currency? We can't afford a bad economy (as if we don't currently have one). You can imagine the liberal's reasoning for keeping a large, overreaching, secretive, powerful federal agency around at the expense of future generations - nothing new. I assure you, the answers to all these questions are covered in detail in "End the Fed" if one is willing to carefully read the 200 pages with an open and unbiased mind.

I would strongly recommend everyone read this book. As Dr. Paul wrote, ending the "beast" is something that liberals, conservatives, libertarians, and populists can get behind, even if it's because of different motivations. Now is the time, every day the Fed operates is another nail in our coffin. Anti-Fed sentiment in this country is the absolute highest it has ever been since this central bank's conception in 1913. If we stick together and spread the word, that is the knowledge that is displayed within these pages, the Fed doesn't stand a chance.     -Adam

"W."
It's no secret that Oliver Stone, the director of the motion picture W., is a screaming liberal. He, as well as Stanley Weiser the writer and actor Josh Brolin, who plays the part of George W. Bush, are big-Bush bashing southpaws who stop at nothing to advance their ideology. This is why when I first saw the preview for W. in theaters when watching An American Carol. I decided then and there that I would not give this movie the time of day. Not long ago I was talking to a friend who advised I watch the movie because he said it wasn't as much of an attack on Bush as he had originally conceived. None the less, I went out and rented it. I was skeptical at the beginning but decided to sit back and take it all in for what it's worth. As it turned out the movie W. was more of a video biography based on the life of George W. Bush than a satire comedy made to bash him. There were several biases that I picked up on though. First of all, this movie takes the stance that most leftists believe the Iraq war was all about oil. The movie paints a picture that Colin Powell is our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, because he is vocal in meetings about not sending troups to die for oil. No blood for oil, if you will. There are countless other jabs this movie takes at Bush which wouldn't bother me so much except for the fact that they paint Bush as a conservative.

If nothing else, this movie does paint a pretty good portrayal of Bush's personality and character. Bush was a party animal and was always the life of the party kind of person with a good sense of humor, these traits are all portrayed in the movie. After watching it you will feel sympathy for the former president because you realize he's much like yourself or one of your good friends, but don't let that fool you, that's just a trick to lure in gullible Republicans to believe it is an accurate movie with no biases. When in all actuality it is a Bush-bashing movie that even takes jabs at conservatives by portraying Bush as a conservative in particular when he tells Laura he is reading Barry Goldwater's "Conscience of a Conservative". This movie sets out to make moderate Republicans like Bush look like conservatives thus giving every conservative or person who claims to be one look like a bad guy who will send children to die for oil.     -Griffin

"The Passion of the Christ"
The Passion is one of those movies you will hate to love or love to hate depending on how you look at it. This movie is based off of the true story of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The movie runs the course of approximately two hours and takes you on an in depth, realistic and graphic tour of Jesus of Nazareth's final hours on this planet. This movie will give you a better idea of what a Roman crucifixion would have looked like and demonstrate what Christ has done for you! All other movies about Christ hail in comparison to Mel Gibson's rendition. This movie makes any "Passion Play" or "Easter Drama" you go see this year look like a puppet show. This movie is as accurate as it gets from the costumes to the language spoken. The entire movie is in the languages of Aramaic, Latin, and Hebrew with english subtitles so you can read along. However, I found that the movie was so good that you don't even need to read the text to follow along. As the old saying goes, "a picture says a thousand words." Most motion pictures are shot at 24 frames per second which means there is about 1,440 still frames in one minute of film. That means the Passion of the Christ contains approximately 182,880 pictures and at 1,000 words per picture this movie contains 182,880,000 words without even counting the dialogue. So wather you like foreign movies or not you can still watch this movie and be just as impacted. I do not condone just anyone watch this movie, it was rated R by the MPAA for "sequences of graphic violence." I do believe it is a safe movie to take young kids to but it would be advised that you watch it first and make that call based on your understanding of your child's tolerance and strong stomach or lack thereof. The Passion of the Christ is the highest grossing non-English language flick and the most successful R-rated movie in the united States.     -Griffin

"An American Carol"
Have you ever gotten sick of seeing the same old Hollywood Liberal bias in movies over and over again? Maybe it is just me, but it sure feels like every movie anymore is just a different interpretation of the last one. The same actors, playing the same character, just with a different name and a different setting. If you are sick of trying to be an upstream person in a downstream world then it's time you start supporting media that shares your views and values. Conservative movies rarely happen in modern Hollywood. That's why David Zucker's new movie "An American Carol" is a one-in-a-million movie. With an all-star cast including, Kevin Farley, Kelsey Grammer, and many others, Lesle Nielsen narrates the story of a Scrooge-like movie director named Michael Malone (who is a parody of Michael Moore). The tale is told in a format similar to Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" where three spirits from America's past come back to haunt Malone after he announces that he wants to abolish the 4th of July. General George S. Patton takes Malone back in time to show him what it means to be an American, what it means to be patriotic and along the way, An American Carol makes fun of the left in a way that's outrageous and true at the same time. I have to be completely honest with you, I was a little disappointed when I watched it the first time I found that it was more Republicanesque than Conservative, for instance they speak highly of big government GOP programs like the Patriot Act, but don't let that stop you from seeing it. This movie was written by, Myrna Sokoloff, Lewis Friedman and David Zucker, who has had huge success in the past working on movies like "Airplane" and the "Naked Gun" series. This movie was rejected from distribution and production deals in Hollywood because of its Conservative mockery of the left. This is why you didn't see many previews for it when it was in theaters and there was little hype over its DVD release. Due to its lack of support from Hollywood, stores are not stocking many of these DVD's. Many Hollywood "Conservatives" risked their careers to make this movie, to show us that they were listening to what we have been asking for, a movie that we can identify with. The very least we can do is buy this movie and support their cause. This was one of the few movies I went out to see on opening day and purchased on DVD on its release date. Be sure to buy this movie today!     -Griffin

"Put A Helmet On" with Brad Stine
Put a helmet on is quite possibly one of the funniest stand-up comedy acts I have ever seen. Stine has been featured on MTV's "Half Hour Comedy Hour," Showtime's "Comedy Club Network", and A&E's "Caroline's Comedy Hour," "Evening at the Improv" and "Comedy on the Road." Brad has also been on "Hannity and Colmes" and "Glenn Beck" Not to mention he was also hired to do stand up for the, "Republican National Convention" in New York City hosted by Jenna and Barbara Bush. This, Brad's first DVD really spells out for you who he is and what he stands for. Attacking everything from, political correctness, animal rights activists, big government lays and even his fellow Christians who say the dumbest things. Yet at the same time there is a strong message of American greatness and Godly wisdom! Stine is growing in popularity with the religious and secular crowds. This DVD brings you a style of comedy similar to that of Robin Williams and the late George Carlin without the vulgar edge making this DVD a safe movie for the whole family to watch. I recommend anyone and everyone to at least give this gig a chance, but if you are a person who finds themselves getting offended easily, before the movie starts you may just want to put a helmet on!     -Griffin

"The Enemy Within" by Michael Savage
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within." So said Cicero in 42 B.C. This quote is how Michael Savage starts off his second political book - "The Enemy Within". Savage is notorious for finding the most absurd stories that the mainstream media never touch base with. This book is full of stories examples and solid facts about the military, health care, and courts that you will not hear anywhere else. This book exploits problems with illegal immigration and the digress in education in this country. Everything can be grouped to the three things Savage believes our country needs to protect: its borders, language and culture. Unlike most "conservatives" Savage is not afraid to call out Republicans when they do stupid liberal things. I recommend this book to anyone who dares to think on their own to anyone who wants to be above the American sheeple. If not for this book I may have never become as passionate about politics as I am today. In this book Michael Savage is as aggressive, blunt and politically incorrect as he is on his talk show, which means this book, "contains adult language, adult content, psychological nudity. Readers discretion is advised."     -Griffin

"My Grandfather's Son: A Memoir" by Clarence Thomas
Wow, what a great book this was. Regardless of your political views or opinion of Clarence Thomas, read this book. I've never been a huge fan of biographies, but this book got me inspired to read more of them. His story is incredible, inspirational, and moving. He goes into great detail about his life starting with childhood and his family situation all the way up to his confirmation hearings and beyond. This is the kind of book Affirmative Action pushers and welfare-state supporters need to read. Mr. Thomas is a wonderful example of how any one in this country, with the right work ethic, can accomplish anything!     -Adam

"American History X"
American History X is a Tony Kaye film that tells the story of Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton) and his younger brother Danny Vinyard (Edward Furlong) of Venice Beach, CA. They have become white supremacists, Neo-Nazis, due to a turn of events in their past. The movie starts out in black and white and flashes to color as it changes from flash backs to current time. At the beginning of the movie you watch as Derek defend himself against three black vandals who were breaking into his car. Derek fires multiple shots at the three men, killing one of them with gunfire and curb stomps the other one just before the police show up and arrest him.

The next three years go by with Derek behind bars and his family trying to move on with their lives. Danny has trouble forgetting what happened and starts following in his brothers footsteps and seeking the wisdom of Cameron Alexander who was Derek's mentor when it came to white power propaganda (Cameron is basically a white Jeremiah Wright). Meanwhile Derek begins to change as he sees hypocrisy with his constituency in prison as some of the Neo-Nazis in prison deal drugs with the Mexicans. Derek speaks out against this inconsistency and is x-communicated from the group after they gang rape his in the shower. Vinyard winds up in the prison hospital with several stitches and is brought to tears when his old black English teacher who is now Danny's principal (Dr. Bob Sweeney) comes to visit him. During his visit Sweeney asks Vinyard a question that leaves him in a stand still, "Has anything you've done made your life better?"

Later, Derek is released on good behavior as result of his help from Sweeney and another black inmate that he befriends. But being released from prison brings Derek more troubles than blessings as he now has to return to his old life, his old family and his old friends with a different out look on life. The movie takes some drastic turns and leaves you with a dramatic and saddening ending.

On the surface the moral of this movie is, 'Bad people can change' the underlined meaning or hidden agenda is to say that "Evil conservatives" can change. What do I mean by this? Well this movie like many other Hollywood flicks has a very liberal agenda. Tony Kaye set out to depict Neo-Nazis as conservatives by making it look like if you are against, affirmative action, illegal immigration, and welfare you must be a Neo-Nazi.

At the beginning of the movie you are led to believe that Derek became racist as result of his father being killed by some blacks in a drive-by-shooting. Derek says, 'Immigration, AIDS, Welfare, Crime, these are all problems with blacks, browns and niggers their not white problems.' However near the conclusion of the movie Danny explains that Derek's racism started much earlier as it takes you back to a scene depicting a much younger Derek Vinyard sitting at the dinner table with his father as he tells his family about 2 black guys who got jobs at his firehouse, over two white guys who actually scored higher on the tests all because of "Affirmative black action".

Seth, the fat and not so jolly friend of the family calls another character a "f***ing Democrat" as an insult! Derek complains to his gang about 2,000,000 illegals bedding down in his state and how the government spent $3 billion on them last year. Then he asks his gang of Neo-Nazis, "Are we just going to stand on the sidelines while our country gets raped?" Just before storming a grocery store and beating every immigrant they find relentlessly! There was even a scene ware they throw an African-American girl on a counter and pour water down her throat similar to a water-boarding session... Then Seth reprimands the store owner saying, "No green card, no f***ing work! Comprendhe?!" In another scene Danny also tells Hillary Rodham Clinton to, "Save the rhetorical bull sh*t", "its not going to happen" in reference to racial equality.

Did I mention that they also portray Neo-Nazis as people of faith? For starters the opening sequence shows Derek banging his girlfriend with a crucifix hanging on the wall behind the bed... not to mention the fact that Danny says, "I hate everyone who is not white Protestants!" And to top it all off, the Neo's call their gang of racists D.O.C. Which stands for, "Disciples of Christ" The list could go on and on! "American History X" is laced full of ant-conservative, anti-Christian rhetoric and propaganda. Without all of the political and religious bull crap I would say the movie was pretty good. However, I would not recommend this movie to just anyone. The movie is rated, "R" for, language, violence, sexuality and some brief nudity. Most movies have a tag line or subtitle... This one was, "Some legacies must end". Well I got a tag line I would like to give to Tony the idiot Kaye to put in his pipe and smoke for a while... how about, "Some misguided stereotypes must end!"     -Griffin

"The ACLU vs. America" by Alan Sears & Craig Osten
Alan Sears and Craig Osten do a great job exposing the ACLU for the un-American, un-Godly, communist psychopaths they truly are. Although a good book is not for the faint at heart or anyone with a weak stomach. Some chapters are very graphic and detailed in their manor but, I believe it is appropriate and completely necessary for this information to be exploited! The nice thing about this book is every chapter that there is explicit graphic content there is a warning that in more or less words advises you to skip the section if you fear you will ruin the book with with projectile vomit. You may find this book to be hard to get through after all it is 243 pages on just one topic. But don't let that critics stop you from checking it out. Sears and Osten cover various aspects of the ACLU ranging from the founder of the ACLU, Roger Baldwin's initial dream and goal to spread communism through the U.S. going through all of the organizations history up until today where they have fought in defense of the N.A.M.B.L.A. (North American Man Boy Love Association) and yet found it in themselves to proceed against the Boy Scouts of America, the Ten Commandments and even Christmas nativity scenes that just might "Offend someone"... God forbid, or should I say, 'Forbid anyone be offended by the ideas of, "peace on earth and good will towards men." Regardless of your excuse not to read this book I recommend you at least look into it and find out something you may not have known about this sick group of people. In my opinion if you can't bare to read this book cover to cover then we as a people can't bare to tolerate the things the ACLU has been doing and will continue to do if they are not stopped!     -Griffin

"Letters To A Young Conservative" by Dinesh D'Souza
The book, "Letters to a young Conservative" has to rank in the top five best books I have ever read! It is a book that the author, Dinesh D'Souza wrote in the form of a series of letters addressed to a fictitious character by the name of Chris about the fundamentals of conservatism. D'Souza, who was formally a speach writer for Ronald Reagan, is also the New York Times best selling author of "What's so great about Christianity?", "What's so great about America?" and many other best-selling books. In this book D'Souza outlines topics like education, political correctness, multiculturalism, affirmative action, feminism, gun control, and many others. The book talks about why professors are so liberal, why government is the problem and what the real difference between conservatism and libertarianism is and why he chooses to call himself a conservative. Each chapter or letter is short, sweet and to the point there is absolutely no rambling or babble in the book. D'Souza gets right down to brass tacks on every topic of each letter without overlooking any good information or repeating himself. Each letter ranges between 4-9 pages long making it an easy cover to cover read. Weather your name is Chris or not, this book is a must read. With every single letter and every single word you will get the sensation that Dinesh D'Souza is speaking directly to you.     -Griff

"Conscience of a Conservative" by Barry Goldwater
So you call yourself a conservative, yet you've never read "The Conscience of a Conservative"? It's okay, there's hope for you yet. This conservative manifesto is as relevant as it was in 1960 when it was written. This book gives consise answers questions regarding conservative opinions on the matters of foreign policy, states' rights, civil rights, taxes, social programs, education and more. As a congressman he stayed close to the principles laid out in this unapologetic, radical manifesto, as it is occasionally called. One thing is certain - the ideology this book clearly laid out, has defined conservatism for our generation and the generations to come. Barry Goldwater is one of my heroes and this book definitely played a part in earning him that status.     -Adam
