Review: “The Killing Room”

The Killing Room is a psychological thriller taking place sometime in post-9/11 America. The premise is that the US Government is taking in volunteers to take a series of tests that will challenge the psyche of the human brain. Four volunteers are brought into a large room with a table and several chairs that are all bolted into the concrete floor. The volunteers are told that the examination will take approximately 8 hours and they will all be paid $250 for their compliance.
After the briefing the instructor shoots one …

Review: “Defending the Undefendable” by Walter Block

In this unique book, economics professor Walter Block defends people who follow controversial, but victimless, practices. Each chapter is devoted to a different type of person – most of whom the average American would consider the lowest of the low. Pimps, drug pushers, blackmailers, ticket scalpers, dishonest cops, slumlords, litterers, fat capitalist pigs, and child labor employers to name a few of the more than 30 practices discussed in this book.
After reading “Defending”, one is not meant to come away with a new found appreciation for sex workers, outlaws …

Review: “Liberty Defined” by Ron Paul

In Liberty Defined, Dr. Ron Paul spells out simple solutions and principled positions on 50 important issues. It is a quick, interesting and entertaining read. It is a phenomenal book to give to friends and family who haven’t fully switched over to the side of liberty yet – the chapters are short and to the point and won’t bore the reader by delving into the deeper, philosophical, esoteric minutiae that would likely result in a neophyte putting the book down and never picking it up again. Liberty Defined is …

Review: “Atlas Shrugged”

There are millions of ways to divide the population into two groups. Some people have read ATLAS SHRUGGED and some people haven’t. Fortunately for both groups, this epic tome is being made into a trilogy of movies, part one of which has recently been released.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T READ THE BOOK:
The fundamental lesson (or moral to the story, if you prefer) is that your thoughts have consequences with exactly the same cause and effect exhibited by the laws of physics. The way you think directly affects your life, and therefore …

Review: “I Want Your Money”

The world is engaged in an ideological war – a war of words and ideas. The battle is between individualism and collectivism. Between freedom and tyranny. Using humor, cartoons, and commentaries by experts in the field, this movie teaches you what is wrong with our economy, and what we can do to fix it. This movie is the best tool I can think of for restoring Liberty in this country. My only regret is that it was released three weeks before the election.
If you see a flower, you many …

Review: “Don’t Tread on Me, Rise of the Republic”

Don’t Tread on Me Rise of the Republic is a documentry style film released to you by the same people who brought you such films as, “Camp FEMA: American Lockdown and 911 Ripple Effect Lies, Propaganda and A Call For Justice. When I initially heard about this film I was a little leary of seeing it as I was concerned that it would be another alarmist film, but since it was called, Rise of the Republic I decided I would pick it up, because I have always wanted to see …

Review: “Good To Be King” by Michael Badnarik

The sole purpose of the constitution is to protect your individual rights and property. Anyone who tries to tell you that the constitution is a “living document” which is old and outdated, is trying to convince you that you don’t have individual rights and that the government is authorized to take your property ”to support the greater good.” -Michael Badnarik
“Good to be King: The Foundation of Our Constitutional Freedom” is a must read for anyone who cares about the affairs of government. In chapter’s one through eight, 2004 …

Review: “End the Fed” by Ron Paul

In “End the Fed”, 2008 Presidential contender Ron Paul lays out the reasons that the Federal Reserve must go and a gold standard must return. Congressman Paul explains his reasons from Philosophical, Constitutional, Economical and Political standpoints citing the current mess we are in and have been in (albeit unknowingly for most Americans) since our fiat money system was integrated and we were removed from the gold standard. He argues the Federal Reserve, namely chairman Ben Bernanke, while credited with “saving” us from an even more disasterous economy, is …

Review: “The Big Black Lie” by Kevin Jackson

As children we are taught that there are little white lies that are told with well intentions and result in no harm, and perhaps wonderful results, and there are big black lies that are spoken will ill intent and cause nothing but pain and grief. Good fibs and evil lies if you will, well Kevin Jackson has discovered the big black lie of society and wishes to make it well known, and so far he has done well with this Amazon best seller.
From a poor black boy growing up …

Review: “The Passion of the Christ”

The Passion is one of those movies you will hate to love or love to hate depending on how you look at it. This movie is based off of the true story of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The movie runs the course of approximately two hours and takes you on an in depth, realistic and graphic tour of Jesus of Nazareth’s final hours on this planet. This movie will give you a better idea of what a Roman crucifixion would have looked like and demonstrate what Christ …
