Michael Koffenberger

Michael Koffenberger Mike Koffenberger is a husband and father of two boys. After attending a liberal university in Maryland, Mike entered the world in typical naïve fashion. However, after seeing the failures of government at all levels as a police officer for the last 17+ years, he has become somewhat cynical. His wife describes him as a “glass half empty – shattered on the floor” kind of guy and blames him for turning her into someone nearly as cynical as he is. Mike’s “political awakening” occurred during the 2008 Presidential Campaign after reading Ron Paul’s “The Revolution: A Manifesto.” Fearing for his sons’ futures, he became politically active and is the coordinator for the York County Citizens For Liberty. Recently, Mike became so disgusted with the Republican Party establishment, and having to constantly keep a scorecard on each Republican’s beliefs, he switched parties and is a Libertarian. He spends much of his free time with his family, reading and studying history, and educating himself on liberty related issues and economics. Update: Mike is now a Libertarian candidate for the US House of Representatives in PA District 19. Follow his campaign at www.mikeforpa.com
