Schaeffer Cox arrested in Alaska

BY 13 March 2011 14 Comments

I’m beginning to have the same feeling in my stomach that I had on September 11th as I watched the World Trade Center begin to crumble. It was a combination of horror and stunned disbelief. Even after the dust had settled, I found it difficult to accept that the landmark was gone.

My friend, Schaeffer Cox, was arrested Thursday (March 10, 2011) in Fairbanks, Alaska by the FBI, U.S. Marshal Service, and the Fairbanks Police Department. They are accusing him (and four associates) of threatening to kidnap and/or murder Alaska State Troopers, and a U.S. District Court judge. I do not believe it for a single moment.

Episode #74 – State Sovereignty
April 2010

I met Schaeffer in St. Charles, Illinois in November of 2009. We were both delegates to the Continental Congress 2009, which resulted in the Articles of Freedom – a 65-page document that outlines many of the government’s most egregious violations of the Constitution. My (admittedly biased) image of young people these days tends towards skateboards, smoking, and tattoos. I realize this does not describe everyone under 21, but those traits are not as rare as I wish they were. Therefore, when I noticed that Schaeffer was clean-cut, intelligent, articulate, and passionate about the Constitution, I was somewhat taken aback. He is only 26 years old, but he has my deep and sincere respect. I know him to be a man of integrity, so I refuse to believe the government’s fictional account of conspiracy to murder.

According to an article at NewsMiner.com, “Cox has used his case to challenge the authority of the Alaska Court System”. Ah-haaa! Now we know why Schaeffer and his friends were arrested. They are willing to challenge the government’s authority. The government obviously feels that they are always right simply because they are the government. That is precisely the argument that Hitler’s storm troopers used in the 1940s.

The article continues saying, [Schaeffer Cox is] “calling himself a sovereign citizen and claiming the court is a for-profit corporation with no authority over him.” Shall we analyze these claims? The preamble says “We the People… ordain and establish this Constitution…” and in doing so, we created Congress. There is a maxim of law that predates the Magna Carta (1215) that says the creator is always more powerful than the created. We created Congress. In this case, the government is supposed to be subservient to us. We the People ARE sovereign. We do not require government permission to exist, but the government does need our permission to exist. More to the point, the government needs us to be submissive in order to exist. Neither Schaeffer nor I are willing to accept the governments claim of authority over us, and we’re willing to say so publicly. This makes Schaeffer and I “enemies of the state”. Not that we are against government in general. We are simply opposed to this particular, increasingly violent, government.

You can’t argue that the court system isn’t profitable when hundreds of thousands of people pay hundreds of dollars each for various traffic infractions every day. Most people do this just to avoid the hassle of taking a day off from work to sit in the courtroom to be abused by the prosecutor and the judge. It is also true that each state is a corporation, as is the organization acting as the United States government. Those corporations do not like Schaeffer Cox questioning their presumed authority, so they have indicted him for crimes that sound horrendous to the average person, and they will no doubt purjure themselves, and create artificial evidence of these crimes to make an example of Schaeffer in the media.

The Declaration of Independence accuses King George of “transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:” History is repeating itself because we have forgotten the lessons of the first American Revolution. I will do my best to keep you posted on Schaeffer’s status. In the meantime, here is another report by KTVA Alaska

Mike, is anyone out there willing to help me open a court of record and file a petition for writ of habeas corpus? I will be happy to assist in the drafting and research. I don’t mean filing motions in their courts for habeas, I mean bringing the judicial power under of the United States themselves under the control of the court of the petitioner. Anyone?

Another method of investigation and legal action is the grand jury. Are 24 other sovereigns out there ready to come together as an Article 61 lawful grand jury?

Cox is a fly in the governments vasoline and they will break him if more dont stand up for the good fight. The little town i live in is being oppressed by mad men too. The little blue soldiers kicked in my door and if we had a liberty bell here i wouldnt have had time to call it. after being cuffed they served me a search warrant with the wrong address on it and still went down town. i know there will be some loop hole where my charges wont get dropped but im one of thousands of people who will be stuck in this machine. cox to me is a true patriot who is peaceful and should go down in history as one of the first to wake up alot of sleepwalking people. im gonna silk screen some shirts “free schaeffer cox” to wear at my trial. Im not very computer savy or social when it comes to rounding up people for a cause but i tell every body to watch his lecture and try to exploit what is happening here

You guys are lost. This nutjob drank some of his own KoolAid and led his friends and family off the deep end. It’s a tragedy when smart, articulate, God-loving people forget the precepts of their own faith. Jesus never advocated taking arms up against the government. He said pay your taxes, love others, and turn the other cheek. This “take back our government” chatter is decidedly anti-Christian. If he really believed in God, not in his own vanity, he would have continued his efforts to run for office and attempted to change things from within. Because of his poor choice, his babies will grow up without a Daddy. That isn’t a hero, that’s a foolish zero. Sad.

at the Alaskan Citizen… I take it by your comment that you would call yourself a Christian. So allow me to address some of your points,
    A. Cox never harmed a fly, he did not shoot anyone so treating him as some sort of a violent heretic is a bit of a stretch.

You said that Jesus never advised us not to pay taxes, he said, “Give unto Cesar that which is Cesar’s” But that quote in and of itself is out of context, there is more to the quote than just that. Jesus also said, “But give unto God, that which his Gods.”

As Christians we believe that everything belongs to God. So I ask you now, how can someone give unto the government a dime of their money and still give that same dime to God? Its impossible. Jesus said, “give unto Cesar…” out of pure sarcasm, the Pharisees knew that they would trip Jesus up and get him to say what is true that the government can not take money from people without their permission without engaging in the act of stealing and so he worded it as such to avoid the legal trouble but still make his point.

It is impossible for one who believes that everything is Gods to turn around and say that some things are flat out property of a godless government.

More over I presume the ideology you subscribe to is complete pacifism. Which in and of itself is unpractical and ungodly, if you believe in complete unadulterated pacifism that means that if you saw a woman being raped in an alley your job would be to sit down and watch until the deed was finished and then try to help her. If you were a woman who believed in complete pacifism you would have to allow a rapist to rape you. Because otherwise to fight back out of any self defense would be to use force, which you do not believe in.

It may be hard for you to imagine Jesus starting a fist fight to defend someone, but its even harder to imagine him standing around and doing nothing. Trust me Jesus would not have watched a woman being raped and then approach her after the fact to tell her about God. The idea is preposterous. Jesus is the guy who went through the temple flipping tables and cracking a whip over money changers ripping people off. A money changer is a person who exchanges the coins or currency of one country for that of another. similarly to the FED who takes actual currency of the the United States, ie gold and silver and exchanges it for paper fiat money, now replace Jesus with Cox, what difference do you see?

Make no mistake I am not saying Cox is Jesus but if Cox claims to be a Christian he claims to be like Christ, if he were to be like Christ he would have to also be angered at the same things, and passionate about the same things as Christ. There is not difference to speak of, or no contradiction. Cox is fighting a very worthy cause, and he needs our support.

I don’t know anyone that hasn’t been lied to be the the police. And we’ve all heard of the story’s of false imprisonment by this corrupt government. I was horrified to hear the lies once again to remove someone they see a threat! Money is power and the Federal Reserve has all the money which means they have all the power. And there using that power to lie and cause fear in us by attacking a leader there scared of. I’m still in shock, they did this in plain site when we all know it’s lies! These things inspire the strong to become stronger!
I’m just one more person sick of living in fear!

Schaeffer Cox has done us all a great service by standing tall and sharing knowledge and real solutions including the Liberty Bell and Common Law courts.

It’s important we all stay true as when one person is seen to stand against tyranny 90% of the witnesses to that will stand in their turn. (Milgram study). Solidarity will get him out and it is just a matter of time as more witness the futility of complying with the unnatural agenda.

These guys have done the headwork on creating alternative governance http://www.thebcgroup.org.uk

Thanks for us on Schaeffer’s situation. He is well respected internationally. Please keep us updated.

Schaeffer and his wife are good friends of mine. We met in 2007 when we where both campaigning for Ron Paul. I’ve worked with him throughout multiple projects for the last five years, we are good friends. He never even hinted at some 241 plan. The government coming up with this hollywood type script is sad, he just had a new born baby girl a week or so before he was arrested. Cox is a good man and he will always have my help. If you anybody else would like to help go to http://www.standbyschaeffer.com

Alaska super fan, you need to sit down and keep your mouth shut.
It’s obvious you are a pacifist and a coward. Schaefer cox is a true patriot who is standing against the tyranny that will consume you, and he’s paying a heavy price for doing so.
